Tailgating and Railgating Discussed at Environmental Impact Hearing Tuesday

Next Tuesday night the Minnesota Sports Facilities Authority will be holding another public meeting to discuss the potential environmental impact of the new Vikings stadium on the surrounding area in Minneapolis.

There has been an Environmental Worksheet constructed that takes into account the following:

  • Access
  • Ecological Effects
  • Historic Issues
  • Noise
  • Parking
  • Tailgating and Railgating (we’re looking at you, Larry Spooner!)
  • Traffic
  • Transit
  • Visual Aesthetics

Public Input will be taken at the meeting for anything not listed above. If you have comments and cannot attend the meeting, you can submit them to steve.maki@msfa.com.

For any stadium geeks that want to take a granular look at the Evironmental Assessment Worksheet, you can find those details on the MSFA site here.
